Garden State Parkway service plazas
The Garden State Parkway runs 172 miles from Cape May to the New York line. In 2026 its service areas were renamed after well-known people from New Jersey; signs may still show the old place names. We list 6 stops along it (the New Jersey Turnpike Authority lists 9 service areas; we add the missing ones as we find exact locations).

Can you sleep at rest stops in New Jersey?
New Jersey has no statewide time limit for rest areas that we could find in its laws or on its DOT site. Look for a time limit on the signs at each site. Tents and grills are not welcome at highway rest areas.
